I saw some other reviewer say this was not a great gift - and I couldn't disagree more! My husband is a police officer and knows all about car safety and car seats - and he thinks this is the best invention since the pacifier! I got this as a gift and it literally saved my car seat. This is BY FAR the best gift I have recieved to date and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking to give a cool, hip, affordbale baby gift (even to yourself)!

Carseat covers that don't come with the carseat are very unsafe. They could actually put your child in danger! An after-market cover could prevent the harness from working properly on your child (the holes may not exactly line up). Also, it could not have the important fire retardant properties that an actual carseat cover has.
You bought a carseat to protect your child, do you really want to alter that protection?

My son just turned one, and he inherited his sister's toddler car seat, which if we weren't in a recession, I'd be throwing away. However, this Dressy Dribble car seat cover literally made my old car seat look BRAND NEW! I got this cover as an inexpensive way to freshen up the old car seat - and it works perfect! Besides saving me money from having to buy a new car seat - it save me time and stress when my son spills and drops his food in the seat. It's a great invention. Thank you dressy Dribbles!
